barriers-biasWhy do men still vastly outnumber women in leadership positions? AAUW’s newest research report, Barriers and Bias: The Status of Women in Leadership, explores this question, drawing from scholarly research and paying special attention to stereotypes and bias. The report provides recommendations for individuals and those in the education, corporate, and political sectors to contribute to an environment in which gender is no longer a barrier to leadership.

Title IX Champion AAUW Websticker thumbnailThe U.S. Department of Education has released new resources to help coordinators understand the full scope of their jobs. But not all Title IX coordinators know about these tools, so it’s critical that AAUW members help spread the word in their communities. You can help by taking the pledge to deliver the new resources to the schools near you.
